Liby Almond, our Site Leader at Mill Lake Senior Community, brings 23 years of experience as a registered nurse and healthcare leader. She is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and supporting her team. Liby holds a certification in Leadership and Management in Long-Term Care, showing her commitment to learning and strong leadership in the nursing profession. Known for her compassion and professionalism, Liby continues to make a positive difference in long-term care. She lives in Chilliwack with her loving family.

Founded by Al and Jenny Jina, Park Place Seniors Living is a family-owned and operated company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Starting out as a nurse, Jenny has worked with Seniors her entire life. Together with her husband Al, they opened their first location in Nelson, BC in 1993 with a goal to enrich the lives of seniors and define a new quality of care. Today, the Park Place Seniors Living family has grown to include over 40 residences located in communities throughout BC, Alberta, and Ontario.

Mill Lake Seniors Community is Park Place’s Abbotsford residence, thoughtfully located near Mill Lake Park and the amenities families know and trust. With both public funding and private pay options, we give you the ability to plan with clarity and move forward in a way that feels right for you and your loved one. With the support of an experienced, family-owned team, our residents receive compassionate care, every day.
